In 2018, Dragon Boat Club of Boston (DBCB) and Ohana New England (ONE) announced a formal collaboration, combining into a single team under ONE. With DBCB's rich history and Ohana's work in the Boston community, we decided to collaborate to grow the sport of Dragon Boat, raise the competitive level, and use our resources to offer members more access to Boston's waterways.
Dragon Boat Club of Boston (“DBCB”) was founded in 2001 to promote and develop the sport of dragon boat in Boston. As a diverse organization, the club served the needs of both competitive and recreational dragon boat athletes. DBCB had a rich history in Boston, providing events to introduce novices to the sport and having the most Team USA members amongst Boston dragon boat teams. This rich history will now carry on as a part of ONE.
